Is there Anything That Is Impossible? Time Traveling! Everyone dreams about time traveling. It is in movies, cartoons like "Back to the Future" or "Mr.Peabody & Sherman". Many people including Einstein think it is possible while others say, it is impossible! Einstein's theory of special relativity says that time slows down or speeds up depending on how fast you move relative to something else. Approaching the speed of light, a person inside a spaceship would age much slower than his twin at home. Also, under Einstein's theory of general relativity, gravity can bend time. In my opinion time traveling might be possible but we aren't even close to traveling with the speed of light. If we had a time machine in future, people from future would have sent their good technology to the cavemen that lived long ago. If cavemen could get great technology from future people they would have been exploring and making more inventions using that technology so when the future people would go back to cavemen time they would enjoy the same better technology that they were using in their time but it isn’t true which proves that time traveling is impossible. The other reason is that even if the future people didn't give their technology to cave people they would probably already visit the past and people from the past would probably write about it but no, they didn't do so which gives another reason why I think time traveling is impossible. Write in the comment section below if you think time traveling is possible or time traveling is impossible. That's why I nominate her blog for the best blog.
The first reason why I nominate this blog is because it caught my attention as all its posts made me feel like they are written from heart. Unlike other blogs her blog is interesting and it seems like she likes blogging. Her posts also make me feel like she isn't afraid at all to write about anything to the world. Hi there! I am the president of my school’s Student Council or you can say I am part of my Student Council Community. To be a member of AITIS Student Council you must be a responsible person a loyal person and a risk taker. In AITIS Student Council we have 11 members in total. The major positions are the President, the Vice President, the Treasurer, the Secretary, and the Reporter. We also have Class Representatives one from grade 3-6 each. We elect the student council through votes. The whole school votes for the five major positions but the class representatives are elected through inside class voting. Also if you want to run for student council you must not have a grade below C. AITIS Student Council is meant to
One of our activity this year is making a peace path for grade 1-6 classes. The peace path is useful when you have a problem with your friend or if you are in a fight. Once you passed the peace path you will be friends again and you will have fun together. We are planning to put it into classes to make every class a peaceful place. Another activity this year is a reunion for AITIS alumni on Fun and Food Fair. We are hoping to meet our alumni on Fun and Food Fair, play games, and have fun together. Another suggested activity is outdoor/free day activity that is proposed to be held on children's day. We have requested it to be a no uniform day and a day where we are not supervised by teachers. We have also requested for a treasure hunt on this same day. We might also visit a learning center this year and donate items to them. Do share with me in the comments section below if you have a student council in your school and what activities do they do.
Our school has a program called "Joy of Reading". In this program we read a book and complete one task for that book. Below is a list of some of the tasks that have been designed by our AITIS JOR committee. When we read 3 books and complete 3 tasks we get 1 JOR tag. And if we are able to finish 15 tasks for 15 books we get 5 tags for which we get a certificate or a bookmark. Here is one of my book of Joy of Reading tasks that I created using flipsnack program.

What have I enjoyed about commenting?
What I enjoyed about commenting is that whenever I comment or someone comments on my blog, it makes me feel like we get more connected to people we wouldn’t meet or know. What is annoying about commenting? The annoying thing about commenting is when people say that your post is ok or it is not a good post. How have you found interesting posts to comment on? When people comment on my post or someone else’s post, they usually leave their blog URL and I visit their blog. And when I find great posts on their blog I really enjoy commenting on them. Are your posts getting lots of quality comments? Why or why not? Sometimes I get quality comments when I post interesting posts that catch someone’s eyes. But sometimes when I post things that do not seem to be very interesting people will only say “Nice” or “Cool” and they will tell us to visit their website. And now some comment starters: 1. Another thing to consider is……. 2. I can relate to this……. 3. This makes me think of……. 4. Did you know that…… 5. This made me more curious about……. 6. I liked the way you….. 7. Are you sure about…… 8. I liked this because…… 9. For me, I…….. 10. I never knew that……….What have I enjoyed about commenting? I commented on 3 posts from Flipboard.
Lesimonc – 2011 Japan Tsunami Jagga – JagArts Nicholas – Final Breath On Lesimonc’s post about (2011 Japan Tsunami) I commented that the story was amazing! Even though I come from Japan I was never in a tsunami however once when I visited Japan I felt earthquakes in the morning while I was eating breakfast. The floor started shaking and I got scared but it ended quickly I made this comment because the post made me think why do we have best friends and why we need them? http://mcdowellmedia.edublogs.org/2016/10/25/2011-japan-tsunami-activity-4/#comment-608 On Jagga’s post about (JagArts) I commented that it was very cool that they practiced so many songs and came to one song that they loved! When I first got on a stage I was just 6 so I didn’t know anything about being scared! I went to London and performed my opera but I wasn’t really sure what I was doing. Later I got used to being on stage and doing something. That’s why I can perform operas without any fear! I commented on this post because I noticed that it is better that you practice many songs so that you can choose the best one at the end. http://20jaggm.edublogs.org/2016/11/10/jagarts/#comment-31 On Nicholas’s post about ‘Final Breath’ I commented that I never surfed but it looked interesting to me! I loved this article because the author made me want to try surfing! I commented on this post because I really want to try surfing. http://nicholasisd20.edublogs.org/2016/11/11/finally-breath/#comment-96 I commented on three posts from:
BrianaM - America Fun Facts Haden - Driver-less Cars Faustina - Cats Are Going Extinct!!! On BrianaM’s post about (America Fun Facts) I commented that I never knew these facts about America. I was surprised when I heard that 27% of Americans believe that they will never land on the moon. I made this comment because that post made me get interested in knowing more about Americans. I liked that post because the post because it was quite informative. http://brianamgms23.edublogs.org/2016/11/07/america-fun-facts/#comment-5 On Hadens’ post about (Driver-less Cars) I commented that it was a nice article! It was cool how he thought that a bug might cover the sensor. It was also reasonable how he thought that driver-less cars are safer. I wrote that comment because his article made me wonder should we have driver-less cars in future. I liked that post because it made me think that if cars can stop because of a bug going to the sensor they might need to add more sensors in other places too. http://hadenwphs17.edublogs.org/2016/11/11/driver-less-cars/#comment-13 On Faustina’s post about (Cats Are Going Extinct!!!) I commented that I never knew that, and I wonder how many animal species would go extinct because of cats. I wrote that post because I didn’t know that many animal species in Australia were going extinct because of cats. I liked that post because that post made me think about the Europeans bringing cats to Australia. https://kidblog.org/class/deader-leader-blogs-in-5g/posts/0qk0spah7tcqq9sf8nw9afjp9 Hi! I come from Japan and I am very proud of my country. If you are asking why am I so proud of being a Japanese, the answer is that there are many reasons. One of which is that Japan is very advanced in technology. What to talk about the recent inventions like Video camera, Digital camera, DVD, CDs etc., let’s go back to WWII. In WWII, Japan made the world’s most powerful airplane of that time. Japan was also the most powerful country in Asia in that time! For me the reason behind this success is that we Japanese are a very hardworking nation. I love to play soccer and I feel so proud that Japan won the world cup in soccer 4 times in 1992, 2000, 2004 and 2011! Have you ever heard of ‘Katana’? It is a sword that can cut through a lot of things. It can cut through even a 0.6 mm steel plate. And yes Japanese were the ones who made this powerful weapon during Samurai period (15th century). By the way, my brother has a small Katana called “Ko-Katana” which he uses for arts and crafts. I love to eat Thai food but I consider Japanese food to be very delicious. It also has lots of health benefits. And I think that is the reason that our traditional cuisine has been added to the United Nation's cultural heritage list. Whenever I visit my country I love to travel by bullet train called “Shinkansen”. It was once the fastest passenger train when it was released. The Shinkansen goes all around Japan. It also goes to the different main islands of Japan. Speaking of islands, Japan is also full of amazing tourist attractions. For ex, Himeji, Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, etc. So these are just a few things to be proud of being a Japanese. What about you? Which country are you from and are you proud to be from that country? Write your comments in the comment section below. Information and Picture Credits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan http://japantravelmate.com/best-of/50-things-to-do-see-in-japan
A video i made about what we play together.
The first thing I want to change about my school is to add a full-fledged canteen. We had a proper canteen in our school in the past but lately it changed into a snack bar. Now every time it is lunch time, a lot of students go eat outside school. I think that is not good. When we had a full-fledged canteen students did not need to go outside school and go buy food. Sometimes when we have meetings at lunchtime we get late because there is no food in the canteen. Also when we eat outside it costs more than the canteen food, therefore kids need to bring a lot of money. The second thing I want to change about my school is to have grades from 7-12. One reason is that I will surely miss my friends and will be sad when we leave and say goodbye. So I, want our school to have grades 7-12. Another reason is that my brother, who studied in this school and later moved to another school, used to tell me that his old school (our school right now) was better in many ways because teachers in his new school would always say, “Oh he came from AITIS. He surely can answer every question. So that’s why I wish that there be grades 7-12 in our school. I play viola and I think it is a great instrument. It is a little bit different from violin. Violin has a higher tune than viola and is smaller than viola. I started playing violin when I was 3 but I was not really interested in this instrument. When I became 10 I wanted to play viola more than violin so my mom changed her violin by adding viola strings and let me use it. But I was still not that interested in both the instruments. Until 1 day when I heard this song ‘Four Seasons’ which was composed by Antonio Vivaldi and was played only with Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass and the Basso continuo. The song was so good that I fell in love with its composer Antonio Vivaldi. Antonio Vivaldi was an Italian violinist. He was born in March 4, 1678. He had eight siblings. Antonio learned violin with Giovanni Battista. Antonio started learning violin at a very early age that is why he had a great knowledge of it at the age of 25. Antonio had health problems like asthma in later age but that didn’t stop him from playing violin. Antonio inspired me so much that I started playing viola every day. Antonio keeps on inspiring me till today because he is extremely good at making music with only 5 to 6 instruments. He is also very creative and his music never makes anybody get bored. Information/image credit: http://www.biography.com/people/antonio-vivaldi-9519560#later-life-and-death https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Vivaldi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRxofEmo3HA It was around 7:00 pm in Shimonoseki, a Japanese city. It was my first trip to that city where I got lost with my siblings. What should I do?
I was in Shimonoseki where I had never been. We planned to go to the shopping mall with mom. My siblings and I were bored so we went somewhere else and told mom, “Lets meet here at 7:00 pm.” My siblings and I had fun but when it was 7:00 pm we ran and went to the meeting place. The place where we were going to meet was shut. So we went to the public phone but we had no money! Luckily my sister had my grandpa’s public phone card but, IT HAD NO MONEY IN IT EITHER! My oldest brother ROM got an idea. He said if we go back to the hotel, mom would find us! We argued with ROM but we had no other choice so we did it. It was our first time in that city so we weren’t even sure if we could go back to the hotel! So what we did was remember the places we passed like a nice garden, a big house, etc. After all that struggle YES! We found our hotel. We waited in the hotel for another 45 minutes. We were bored as a person stranded in an island and also scared as a person in a haunted house. After a while we got an idea to ask the receptionist to borrow the phone. But she was using the phone so we waited until she finished her call. When she finished her call she asked us, “Are you children of Mrs. Rieko? We said yes, and the receptionist called my mom back saying we were at the hotel. We were so happy that we almost shouted out loud. My favorite place in Japan is Shimonoseki which is located at the southwestern tip of Honshu island One of the reasons I love Shimonoseki is the pufferfish. There are pufferfish in Japan but the tastiest one in Japan is in Shimonoseki in my opinion. The shop we bought the puffer fish was verified by professional chefs. Puffer fish tastes awesome. It has white meat with soft texture. It is just awesome! Another reason why i love Shimonoseki is because The Heike and Genji tribes who were fighting with each other for a very long time, fought their last war there in 12th century. I performed an opera about that final war 1 year ago. The losing tribe that fought there was named Heike. Heike had an emperor Antoku who was around 10 years old and his grandmother didn’t want him to get killed or captured so his grandmother and the emperor dove into the ocean. http://www.toshidama-japanese-prints.com/item_264/Yoshikazu-The-Battle-of-Dan-no-Ura-of-1185.htm http://www.shunpanro.com/en/fugu-browfish/
What did i learn from those 2 videos?1. I learned that taking credit of something you didn't do is not good.
2. I learned that If you wanted to edit the persons work, you must ask the owner and if he says yes you must credit him. 3. If you wanted to let others edit your work and get credit you must use share-alike. 4. Share-alike will let others edit your work and you can get control of the work no matter how many generations is passed. Things that is Good to do:
1. When you write a comment try to make the person happy. 2. When you are writing a comment try to ask them about the facts you wanted to know which they didn't write yet. 3. Put your website's link below your comment so the website owner can write a comment on your website too. 4. Try to make a small conversation out of it. Warnings!
Some things you probably didn’t know about me. I was in an opera more than 10 times. My first performance was at Bloomsbury Theatre. I was just six years old so I didn’t know what was happening. But after practicing a couple of times I was not scared.
The weirdest dream I have ever had was when I was in a zombie apocalypse and I was with my friend. The moment when the zombie was going to eat me I woke up… That day I went to school and asked my friend was it real? He said what are you talking about and he said he actually had a dream just like mine some days ago. The most times I rode on a plane in a year is four times. I rode from Thailand to Japan then came back from Japan to Thailand. Then I went from Thailand to Germany then from Germany to Thailand. Some people call me hilarious because sometimes when I laugh hard my nose becomes bigger and smaller really quickly. I love to make jokes because it makes my friends laugh and sometimes they get the minus point! J Sometimes I help people so I think I am kind. Maybe? Hehehe. My cousin was born In March 1 in a leap year. She was really lucky! Once a navigator told me to use a road I have never been before so I was afraid. I love octopus that is grilled It tastes awesome! I don’t know why but we are learning about Perimeters, it is too easy. I never met a real king or queen before. Once I skid even I didn’t know how to it was really risky but at the end I did it! Sometimes when I eat too many things of what I like I get sick of it because it gets too common. The animal I love the most is a Narwhal because it is like an underwater unicorn! I wanted to tell my friend Karah that I also play the Violin not only the Viola. Which one do I like? I like the Viola more. Did you know that we learn how to play the Xylophone before any other instrument? Is it also like that for your school? I hate the smell of the Zoo it smells weird, it smells like poop. LOL That was more facts about me.. J |
